K Finance assisted Marsilli & Co. S.p.A. as financial advisor in the investment agreement involving the entry of Fondo Italiano in the company´s share capital. The transaction consists of a total investment by Fondo Italiano of 10 million euros, against the subscription of a minority stake. The intervention of Fondo Italiano di Investimento is aimed at supporting the important international growth programs planned by Marsilli and to further increase the resources that the Group allocates to research and development activities.

Marsilli is a world leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of winding machines for electrical windings and complex systems in the assembly of components in the high-end segment and closed 2012 with a production value of more than 50 million euros. Marsilli is present through its sales subsidiaries in the main strategic markets for the Group (Germany, the United States and China).

Fondo Italiano d'Investimento SGR S.p.A. is an Italian asset management company, established in March 2010 and 55 percent owned by Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, through Equity, and the remainder by some of Italy's leading institutions and banks.
