2004
Five founder firms in Europe and the US begin to collaborate. They decide to form their own midmarket partnership and call it Clairfield Partners to emphasize the transparency and clear-eyed view that forms the basis of their practice.
2005
Clairfield Partners sarl is officially registered in Geneva, Switzerland.
2008
A banner year for Clairfield, as with a small number of offices, we are ranked by the league tables as one of the top 25 financial advisors in Europe, Australia, Benelux, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.
2009
With a clean energy a cornerstone of economic recovery, Clairfield closes six deals in the sector in a 12-month period.
2010
Clairfield expansion begins in earnest. We soon cover every important economy worldwide.

Branding overhaul, with renaming of brand to Clairfield International and a new square logo that represents fortitude.

Clairfield sponsors the 2014 M&A Forum at the China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) in Xiamen.

The Clairfield Academy, our in-house education platform, is formed to train the next generation of financial advisors. The Geneva holding becomes a joint stock company (Swiss société anonyme — SA).
