Samiro Group S.p.A., the holding company of Ravaglioli Group ("Ravaglioli"), which includes the companies Ravaglioli S.p.A. (BO), Butler Engineering & Marketing S.p.A. (RE), Officine Meccaniche Sirio S.r.l. (FE) and Space S.r.l. (TO), announced today that it has sold its entire capital of the Group to the U.S.-listed multinational corporation Dover Corporation (NYSE:DOV), a group active globally in the production of automotive workshop equipment. Within the Dover Group, Ravaglioli will join Vehicle Service Group ("VSG"), a business unit of the Engineered Systems division.

Ravaglioli was assisted by K Finance, a partner of Clairfield International, the law firm NCTM, and Deloitte on vendor due diligence.

The company

Founded in 1958 and based in Bologna, Italy, Ravaglioli is a world-leading manufacturer of vehicle service and repair equipment, including lifting systems, tire shop equipment and diagnostic tools for cars, trucks, commercial vehicles and motorcycles. Ravaglioli's products, technology and customer base are highly complementary to those of VSG. Together, VSG and Ravaglioli will be able to offer a range of excellent products to their customers located all over the world.

Ravaglioli conducts its manufacturing operations in Italy and has sales branches in France, Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States, employing more than 650 people worldwide. Ravaglioli's annual sales in 2016 are estimated to amount to approximately €150 million (USD $165 million approx.).
