Orange1 Holding completes its thirteenth acquisition with Sicme Motori of Turin and achieves in record time its goal of becoming a leader in the Vector and DC motors sector.

The sellers were assisted by K Finance, the Italian partner of Clairfield International, as financial advisor, Pavesio e Associati as legal advisor and Studio Ferreri for the tax side. Advisors to Orange1 were for the accounting, tax and financial part Skema of Rimini and for the legal part Cerina Studio Legale.

The company

Orange1 is an international group specialized in the engineering sector with headquarters in Arsiè (BL), ended 2016 with 149 million euros in revenues, employs more than 1,000 people located in 10 production plants allocated between the province of Belluno, Vicenza, Bergamo, Forlì-Cesena, Reggio Emilia , Turin and in Romania and Hungary.

Sicme Motori Srl, founded in 1967, a company that has revenues of about 16 million euros and 90 employees, produces high quality Variable Speed and Direct Current AC electric motors and represents one of the few references on the market with the best technological and economic solutions for a wide variety of applications. Since 2002 to the present, it has been actively cooperating with the Institute of Electrical Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Turin and is one of the world´s leading manufacturers of wind generators. Since 2008 it has developed motors with synchronous reluctance technology, the most revolutionary type of electrical machine in the world, and in 2014 it developed an innovative series of reluctance motors with IE4 efficiency, on which there is a specific patent.
