Ivo Conti

Ivo Conti graduated in Economics and Business from the University of Verona. In 1997 upon obtaining a Master in Business Administration from SDA Bocconi, I began my career in the transaction services sector for leading national and international private equity funds.
In 2002, I transferred to London where I took on the position as Chief Financial Officer of the English subsidiary of an Italian multinational acquired by the Carlyle Group fund until 2006.
From 2006 to 2009 upon returning to Italy, I worked in the Moscow, London and Milan offices of the Evraz SA group. Here I occupied the role of Managing Director with the responsibility of managing the foreign companies of the Group’s post-acquisition.
In 2009, together with other partners, I founded a holding company, acquiring and creating from scratch industrial and trading companies in the commodity sector, both ferrous and non-ferrous.
As Chief Executive Officer, from 2009 to 2021 I managed the Group’s expansion and the subsequent process of selling the individual industrial companies. From 2021 to 2024 after completing the process of selling all the investments held in the portfolio, I joined the UBS Wealth Management team in Italy.
At the beginning of 2025 I joined EQUITA, a consultancy firm specializing in M&A and Corporate Finance operations in partnership with Clairfield International, an international consultancy firm dedicated to M&A operations in Europe, America and Asia-Pacific.
