B810 srl, a company active in the design and production of electronic systems and in the development of innovative technologies for the world of connectivity (Internet of Things), has acquired 100 % of Digicom Spa, a company active in the development and design of telecommunication and data transmission devices, operating in the market for 40 years.

For B810, K Finance, the Italian partner of Clairfield International, acted as financial advisor, Studio Baldi & Partners as legal advisor, and Accounting Due Diligence was conducted by the company Analisi Srl of Reggio Emilia. Digicom was assisted by Studio Reggiori & Associati of Varese and, as legal advisor, by Pedersoli Studio Legale. The acquisition transaction was financed by Banca Popolare dell'Emilia Romagna, an institution that has supported B810 since its establishment.

The acquisition transaction, which coincides with the 40th anniversary of the founding of Digicom, represents an ideal handover between a historical reality of the telecommunications sector and a new and dynamic company born only 6 years ago, but already successfully established on the market; from the transaction comes a highly integrated industrial entity, which combines a strong design and development capacity with a solid production and commercial platform and is able to operate on the market with a wide range of solutions and products.

B810, founded in Reggio Emilia in 2011 and characterized since its inception by a strong drive for growth and innovation, closed 2016 with euro 21 million in sales, about 200 people including employees and collaborators, and operates in a production plant of about 8,000 square meters in Reggio Emilia; in 2016 it opened a component assembly plant in Albania and a research and development department specializing in innovative technologies at the research center in Pula (Cagliari).

Digicom is a historical reality of the telecommunications sector, founded in 1977 in Cardano al Campo (Varese, Italy), which develops and designs devices and technical solutions for data transmission for customers operating in multiple sectors: from automotive to gas metering, from industry to elevator manufacturing. In 2016 Digicom achieved more than euro 30 million in sales with about 50 employees, mostly technicians and engineers.
